The short version
Your New Country is free to read. It is funded by advertising and by affiliate commissions: if you click certain links to a service and go on to sign up, this site may be paid a commission. You are never charged more because you arrived through a link here.
Which links are affiliate links
Affiliate links appear inside the practical sections of country guides and in clearly marked boxes. Current or potential partners include money transfer services such as Wise, expat health insurance providers such as SafetyWing, visa document services such as iVisa, international moving quote services such as Sirelo, eSIM providers such as Airalo, and accommodation booking sites. Every affiliate link carries rel="sponsored nofollow" and sits in a box labelled as a recommendation, so you can tell it apart from a source citation.
Links to government sites, statistics agencies and official immigration portals are never affiliate links. Those are the sources the page is built on.
What it does not influence
Commercial relationships do not decide which countries get covered, what the cost of living data says, or which visa routes are described. The dataset is built from official statistics before any partner is placed on the page, and a partner box is only added where the service is actually relevant to that section — a money transfer service next to banking, not next to healthcare.
We do not accept payment to alter a country's ranking, verdict or figures, and we do not publish sponsored guides dressed up as editorial.
