Data accuracy and freshness
Figures are compiled from official statistical and government sources, listed at the bottom of each country page along with the date each source was accessed. Statistics agencies revise their own numbers; immigration rules and fees change without much notice, sometimes overnight. A page can be accurate on the day it was reviewed and wrong a month later.
Each page shows the date its data was last reviewed. If that date is old and the decision is expensive, check the official source directly. Where we could not verify a figure to our own standard, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a measurement.
Third-party links
Outbound links go to government portals, statistical agencies and commercial services. We do not control their content, pricing or terms, and linking to a service is not an endorsement of its suitability for your situation.
Corrections
Errors get fixed. If you find a figure that contradicts the official source, or a visa route that has since closed, tell us and it will be corrected against the primary source and the review date updated.
